Sodbury Vale Family History Group
A local group of the Bristol and Avon Family History Society and meet on the second Wednesday of the month at the Shireway Community Centre, Shire Way, Yate.

The doors are open at 07.00 p.m. and you can peruse our archive material or seek advice from the experienced members, starter packs are available for newcomers to this absorbing hobby. Meetings start at 07.30p.m. with around 10 minutes of club business followed by a break for refreshments, the bar is also open for drinks at club prices.

The main speakers normally starts their talk at about 08.00 p.m. The library remains open after the talk and members stay until they are exhausted or run out of inquisitors.

Chipping Sodbury Farmers Market 2nd Saturday and Last Thursday of the month. The Thursday market begins at 9am and closes at 1pm.
